Gaza Under Attack Since October 7, 2023: A Year of Genocide
Gaza has been under attack since October 7, 2023. The city has been brought to the brink of annihilation, with tens of thousands of people losing their lives due to the attacks. In Gaza, which is under genocide, more than 42,000 people have been killed, while over 100,000 have been injured, leaving many either disabled or orphaned.
THE CITY HAS NEARLY BEEN WIPED OUT
As a result of the attacks, more than 160,000 buildings have been destroyed, and millions of Gazans have lost their homes. Many have been forced to seek refuge in refugee camps, while others have fled their land and migrated to different countries. Meanwhile, over 170 journalists have been killed, and more than 200 humanitarian aid volunteers have lost their lives in the attacks.
WE HAVE BEEN CARRYING OUT RELIEF ACTIVITIES IN THE REGION FOR 1 YEAR
For the past year, since the first day of the attacks, the Just Human International Aid Association has been providing aid to Gaza, which has been suffering from a major humanitarian crisis, and continues to do so.
OVER 1 MILLION HOT MEALS DISTRIBUTED
In the last year, we have distributed hot meals to over 1 million people in Gaza. Additionally, we distributed 5,100 baby milk packages for infants who lost their mothers due to the attacks.
As economic activities in the region came to a halt, we also carried out cash distributions, providing zakat, fitra, and charity to more than 5,000 people.
4 MILLION LITERS OF WATER SUPPLIED
With the city's infrastructure completely destroyed, access to clean water has become nearly impossible. In the past year, we have distributed 4,746,000 liters of clean water to civilians in need throughout the city. As hospitals, which have become targets of bombings, ran out of medical supplies, we have distributed hundreds of thousands of medicines and emergency relief items.
